Sichuan Weather & Climate
Impacted by the Southeast Pacific Ocean Monsoon and the Southwest Indian Ocean Monsoon, most of the regions have the annual rainfall of 600mm to 1,000mm and feature the consecutive night raining. The Eastern Basin annual average temperature is 15~19℃, so are the spring and the fall. The coldest January average temperature is 3~8℃, the hottest July average temperature is 25℃~29℃. The Western Plateau annual average temperature is under 8℃. January average temperature is around - 5℃, the average temperature in July is only 10℃~15℃. The seasons have no summer but a longer winter.
