Brief Introduction
Qiandongnan Miao & Dong Autonomous Prefecture is located at Southeast part of Guizhou Province, Bordering Hunan in the East and Guangxi in the South. It is home to 38 minority groups, with Miao, Dong, and Yao People being the largest trends. It is named by the United Nations as “a famous resort to return to nature” and is known as “the last ballad of the human kind and the homeland for the exhausted souls”.
Best Time to Visit
Southeast Guizhou is a good place for a visit all the year round. The weather here is subtropical. It is neither too cold in winter nor too hot in summer. If you are fascinating with the Ethnic Customs, the best time to there is during the Spring Festival Holidays and in early spring. The local festivals are mainly celebrated in this month.
