The ship is 91.5 meters long and 16.4 meters wide with a draft of 2.6 meters. Installed with engines of 3480 h.p., she can sail from Chongqing to shanghai all the year round with a maximum speed of 30 km per hour in still water.
The M.S. Yangtze star is built in Qingshan shipyard, which is affiliated to China Changjiang National shipping Group Co. On board of the ship, there are two presidential suites, 64 standard cabins, 2 deluxe suites, 4 deluxe single, and one special room for disabled. The maximum capacity is 140.
The M.S. Yangtze star is exquisitely designed and decorated in line with the four-star standard. The dark blue glass-enclosed body embodies its interior temperament adequately.
Its main facilities include: central air-conditioning, closed circuit TV, audio, Chinese and western dining room, coffee house, beauty parlor, outside observation deck.
